  • Join the Carolina Summer Reading Program for the opening keynote and reception of the Windows on Death Row art exhibit that will be taking place in the Carolina Union February 1-March 21. The keynote and reception will be on Tuesday, February 2nd at 6:30pm in the Great Hall of the Carolina Union. For more information, click here.
  • Hear a series of speakers address one the most important policy puzzles our state and nation face: Why is the death penalty fading away, and should it be abolished? The UNC Department of Political Science is pleased to host the Spring 2016 Distinguished Speaker Series on Race, Innocence & the End of the Death Penalty. These speakers will take place Mondays from February 1-March 7 and again April 4-18 at 5:30pm in Genome Sciences Building, Room 100. For more information, click here.
