There are multiple ways to participate in the Carolina Summer Reading Program:

Students: We hope you will attend one of the multiple events that will be hosted during the fall semester. For a full list, please click here.

Faculty and Staff: We invite faculty and staff to apply to serve as a small group discussion co-facilitator. You will be paired with a First-Year Experience RA and will have the opportunity to attend training in mid-August, prior to the discussions. Please click here for more information and the application.

UNC Community: The Carolina Summer Reading Program relies on the nominations from students, faculty, staff, alumni, family members, and the UNC community for its pool of potential books each year. Submit your nomination for 2018 here.
We are pleased to have partnered with Bull’s Head Bookshop in Student Stores to offer How Does it Feel to Be a Problem? for 20% off list price. We look forward to seeing you at events this fall!
